Who is Craig Rusin?
Craig Rusin has been practicing real estate and mortgage lending in Southern California for 15 years. He currently specializes in single family homes, multifamily investment properties, REO’s (bank owned properties). On the lending side, his alliances allow him to operate as a direct lender, broker the more specialized loans to niche investors, as well as securing hard money financing.
Before opening Rusin Realty, Craig was Managing Broker for a real estate conglomerate which included a mortgage company, a real estate sales office and an escrow company. While overseeing the transactions of 45 individual agents, as well as supervising the mortgage and escrow branches of the business, Craig became intimately involved in every stage of the process. This experience has allowed him to become familiar with almost every conceivable issue that can arise during real estate transactions and gave him a firm understanding of the needs and concerns of each party involved.
Prior to becoming a real estate Broker, Craig was a full-service financial advisor, helping individuals and families manage their assets in the most lucrative way possible and navigate the sea of investment possibilities. Having in depth knowledge of most investment vehicles, it was always clear that real estate is the premier investment choice and should be the first focus of every family’s long term financial planning. Hence, the shift from broader financial planning to specialization in real estate brokerage.
Ironically, Craig’s choice was a perfect fit and ultimately what he knows best. He was raised in a family primarily involved in real estate. He is a 3rd generation real estate professional. As a child he was surrounded by real estate investors, agents, loan officers, and attorneys. As a teenager, he worked on his uncle’s investment properties and in his father’s real estate office. In his own words, “I initially swore off real estate because I was so tired of hearing about it.” However, his education and experience with other investments only served to reinforce the fact that real estate is by far the safest investment with the greatest returns.
In addition to his lifelong experience, Craig Rusin has obtained a Masters Degree in Business, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management.
